Carl Cuss

My name is Carl and I am the Partnership’s Secretary. My role as the Secretary is to support the Chair in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Management Committee. Currently, I’m employed at the University of Wales, Newport and involved with a number of Community Groups such as The Pen y Dre Tenants & Residents Association, Ael y Bryn Community Centre Management Committee and the Tenants & Residents Forum for the Caerphilly Borough.

I enjoy my position in the Rhymney Communities First Partnership and working in my local community. Volunteering has allowed me to connect with the community and make it a better place. I feel that the Communities First Programme has a vital role to play in tackling deprivation in the area of Rhymney.
