Jobs, Business and Income Generation

Jobs, Business and Income Generation is one of the largest themes within the Vision Framework. It covers identification of the issues including barriers to employment, identifying employment opportunities and engaging the hard to reach groups. Partnerships will need to develop knowledge and expertise in intermediate labour markets, targeted employment programmes and Basic Skills/ Key Skills and Personal Development. This theme also includes the social economy with the development of volunteering and social enterprises. Partnerships will have a key role linking with employers and private businesses and facilitating subsidised employment opportunities and modern apprenticeships.
